Stitching Year in Review

I decided to look back through my photos and blog to see what I accomplished this year.  2010 I had a huge dry spell stitching wise so I figure I didn't do too bad.  I'm going to try to stitch more this year...Imagine what I can accomplish then!

This morning I was up at the crack of dawn to place my New Year's Eve order on the Silver Needle's website.  I want to do at least one large project this year and I've decided it will be Christmas Rules by Lizzie*Kate.  It's so cute and I love the "rules" too!

I also went through all my JCS ornament issues and made a spreadsheet of all the ornaments I would like to stitch.  From 2003 - 2010 there are *GULP* 44.  The ones that will take priority will be the Shepherds Bush "In a Stable" etc, that go along with the 2000 Years Ago chart I have in my stash.

I'm signed up for an year long ornament exchange already, the first to go out in February.  It has to have a reindeer in it.

I also have a few WIP's that I want to finish in 2011:

1.  Travelling Stitcher by Little House Needleworks
2.  Merry Christmas by the Letter by Lizzie*Kate
3.  12 Days of Christmas by Just Nan

Thankfully there aren't many!  My mom really likes Merry Christmas by the Letter, I'd like to try to finish it for her by Mother's Day.

Overall it my To-Do list seems pretty reasonable.  We'll see how I do!

Happy New Year Everyone!

It's amazing how quickly our finishes add up isn't it? Now if we could just put that energy into other things...but we won't talk about that will we? LOL . Happy New Year!

I think you did very well for the year! I really like each and every piece and your skeleton and casket is particularly cute :)

44 ornaments??!! Well, it will be fun to see how many you can finish in 2011--good luck!

That photo montage of finished projects doesn't look like much of a dry spell to me - you did a great job! Your To Do list looks very reasonable - I hope you get everything done you want to do, and I'm looking forward to seeing your creations this year :D

Hello there and Happy New Year !! Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your nice comment.

I love your finishes !! I, like you, hope to stitch more also in 2011. It is exciting to see what all the new things everybody will be stitching.

I totally forgot about The Silver Needle sale !!! Oh my gosh... that is almost unforgivable, but hey, at least I got to sleep in :-)
