First Finish of 2009

I've finally finished something! It's also my first biscornu. Let me tell you, they look far more difficult than they actually are! I used the tutorial on http://www.violarium.com/ which was the best one I found, especially when you get to the corners!

Mini Biscornu Update

We'll I've finished all the stitching on my mini biscornu. Here is a picture of both sides before attempted to finish it. You can't see it very well but I added the year and my initials for prosperity. I date everything!

I started sewing the biscornu together and even got the nerve up to add a twisted cord hanger! I have to run out to my LNS (woo hoo!) tomorrow to get more floss for a tassel. I'm very happy how it's turning out! I think this is the beginning of my being hooked on smalls!
