On the 4th & 5th Days of Christmas...

I've now finished 5 out of the 12 days!  I can't believe it myself...the best part is that even if it's only been 15 stitches, I've stitched every day this year so far!

4 Calling Birds

5 Gold Rings
12 Days of Christmas WhimZi by Just Nan
Fabric: 32 ct. Flax Belfast Linen
Fibre's: DMC & Kreinik conversion as charted
To be finish-finished in Just Nan WhimZi frames

5 Gold Rings had Kreinik Blending Filament.  Man, is that ever a pain to work with!  All in all, I'm thrilled with my progress.  Now on to 6 Geese A-Laying!

Have a great weekend.

I need to follow in your footsteps, oh productive one - I keep meaning to finish up my Britty puppy but I haven't even pulled it out yet - eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! It's on my January To Do list, so I need to get cracking!

Those both look fabulous. I love the green of the calling birds.

Totally agree with you about the Kreinik Blending Filament. I have a really old WIP that I may post sometime just to show why it has taken over 16 years to do....I wish it wouldn't tangle, fall of the needle, knot, etc. Does this design call for more Kreinik?

Looks good! I'm not a fan of Blending Filament either... but it looks so pretty when it's done!

They look gorgeous. I hear you on the blending filament! It's a pain! Have you tried using Thread Heaven?

Wow, those ornies look fabulous! So far, I think that the one with the roosters is my favorite - I love the greens in that one.
I adore Just Nans, but I am too lazy to stitch her designs due to all the confetti stitching. I may have to change that; your pictures are such a great inspiration!
