Merry Christmas by Threadwork Primitives
Fabric: 36 ct. Edinburgh linen
Fibre's: WDW Holly and Garnet
Finished as a stitching tin, embellished with Holly fabric, a magnet and velvet ribbon
The past few years we've gone to an ornament exchange party at friends. It's a great way to kick off the Christmas season. Everyone bring's a wrapped ornament, pick a number and then the fun starts. #1 is the worst number to get. If the ornament you pick is awesome #2 can steal it, and so on. It's the best to get the last number as you get the pick of the crop! So I chose to stitch an ornament this year.

Great stitching . I love the tin .XX
Great tin idea. Lovely stitching.
Very nice. Both ideas are very pretty.
I like how the design looks on both linen colours. I might have to look this freebie up!
Sounds like a fun way to distribute the ornaments. Hope you get that very last number! Your tin and ornament are both so well done :)
Lovely finishes!
I really like those - especially the stitching tin! I've already nabbed the pattern (thanks for the link :D) - I'm hoping that next year I'll be able to do better at doing an ornament a month, if my fingers will co-operate!
I love your version of Nan's "Merry Christmas"! The altoid tin is cute too. Great for storing needles. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
