Framed!

I picked up my first framed piece on Friday.  I must say, Michael's did a fabulous job!  Thank you Vonna for the advice on having spacers and gallery glass added since I didn't want it matted.  Here it is in all it's glory!

The gallery glass is wonderful.  You can't even tell there is glass there, only in the picture I took.  I couldn't get a great picture without a reflection of the blinds.  Oh, well.  I'm still practicing my photography.  Doesn't it match DD's room so well?

In stitching news, I'm 3/4 done "He's a Flake" by LHN since starting it on Friday afternoon.  It's a fun stitch.

Happy Stitching!

What a darling piece for your daughter's room--it really is a perfect match. Nice to learn about the gallery glass, too. I've never used glass, but I'm sure there will come a time when I'll want to protect one of my pieces really well...

This is so darling... I don't usually use glass in my pieces, there is so much conflicting info about glass or no glass, and I am never sure of what to do !! :-)

It is so dang cute! The colors match perfectly. I might have to try Michael's for framing...they have such good coupons.

So CA was your honeymoon, huh? I can see why! What a romantic spot. My husband and I are going back to the same spot for our 15th anniversary trip at the end of the year, but without the kids this time. :) We have our eye on one of the little cottages in Carmel- so fun!
